Alien Eye Labradorite Palmstone

Labradorite is a stone of magic and synchronicity. The fractures inside of the stone display an astounding array of luminous energy. Labradorite was first found in Labrador, Canada, where it took it's name sake. The Inuits in that region believed that labradorite held magical properties and that the stone held the aurora borealis inside of the stone. I can certainly see how one could come to that conclusion, with no two stones displaying their light in the same way. Labradorite, physically, gets it's color from the fractures inside of the stone. So, labradorite, in it's own way, is beautiful because of the instability of it's form. We all take on our beauty from our struggles and as Leonard Cohen says "Ring the bells that still can ring, forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything, it's how the light gets in." Labradorite is said to help one get past their feelings of insecurities, anxiety and social enigmas and allow one to shine. It creates a barrier for those who might feel challenged by their sensitivities and empathy. It allows one to feel as if you're walking with a bubble and not as affected by other's projections. It seems a very extra-terrestrial stone to me. I feel as if it's reminding me of the great expanses of our origins and the light which makes us all feel at home.
